"Greenbanks Country Hotel, Restaurant and Pool - We have just stayed at this great place and had a wonderful time. My partner is a coeliac (gluten free) and was so happy to be able to sit and relax and enjoy all her meals without any worries. From the moment we arrived and were taken to our room we could tell we'd booked the right place.
I had a few hours of incredible fishing (caught my first double figure Common Carp) before our first evening meal. Freshly baked special breads for my partner and a chocolate tart with gold leaf which she hasn't had for along time. We had plenty of space in our room which was handy as I had my fishing gear and the bed was very comfortable.
We were a little late for breakfast as we over slept (the counrty air) but again my partner was able to enjoy special sausages and some free range eggs from their own chickens that roam around the chefs garden. We then visited Norwich for a bit but I needed to get back for some more fishing. My partner had a lovely relaxing dip in the pool and a long soak in the spa bath which brought us to dinner time again. I had some local asparagus and my partner had crayfish then some delicious steaks and another chocolate tart to finish. Wonderful. They had a good wine selection and and nice garden lounge where we had coffee until it was bed time.
We will definitely be going back as it had everything we needed for our short break away. Highly Recommended
